Dungeons and their role in the game
Dungeons are where you complete quests and missions, so sooner or later you will have to focus on completing them if you want to get valuable heroes such as the Arbiter or Rammantu. In the dungeons, you can fight Potions of Ascension Guardians for Potions, the Minotaur for Mastery Scrolls, the Golem, Dragon, and Fire King for Weapons, and the Spider for Rings, Necklaces, and Banners.
In addition to the basic rewards, mystery shards, ancient shards, silver and xp brews can also be earned
Guardians Of Affinity Keep
To raise a champion to a higher level of ascendancy, you must use affinity potions. Champion needs two types of potions. A general arcane potion for all classes and a specific vocation for your class. Each potion comes in three variants: ‘lesser’, ‘greater’ and ‘superior’. Depending on the champion, we will need appropriate potions.

In order to get the potions, we have to defeat the guardians located in the affinity keep. Each of the guards is specific and requires a slightly different approach, but they all have one common denominator. They are vulnerable to time manipulation, i.e. to ‘slow’ debuffs and to ‘turn meter decrease’. So if you’re thinking of defeating high-level guardians, you should have a champion in your deck that will control the timing of the skirmish.
Guardian of Magic Keep

Spirit Keep Guardian

The spirit guardian is a healer and is hard to defeat without a heal reduction. Below, in the picture, a Rocktooth that can be obtained in campaign level 5, in ‘Felwin’s gate’. During the game you will get much stronger champions with healing block, but if you don’t have them and you need to complete missions with guards, then Rocktooth will be a great choice.

Guardian of Force Keep

A force guardian is a tough guy. It has tons of hit points and extremely strong defenses. There are several ways to defeat him and he is one of the easiest guards. To knock him off his feet at high levels, you can lower his defense (‘decrease def’) and weaken him (‘weaken’). At lower levels, it is enough to poison him successively (‘poison’) and heal himself (‘heal’). I’ve never had a problem with this guard, so I assume you will too. Not so with the Void Keeper.
Guardian of Void Keep

The ‘void guardian’ is a poisoner. Casts massive amounts of poison debuffs. Once enough is on the champions, the ranger takes them and deals massive amounts of damage with them. In this case, you must use two skills.
- Block debuffs. This ability is possessed by the campaign champion, Spirithost. Thanks to this skill, the guard will not poison our heroes
- Remove debuffs. And here Spirithost also comes in handy because it does both in one skill.
If you have another champion with one or two of these abilities, use it on Void Guardian. Below is Spirithost and where to get it.

The Minotaur’s Labyrinth
Mastery scrolls must be acquired in order for a hero to be taught mastery in the path of strength, health, or magic. There are 3 types – basic gray (‘basic scrool’), green advanced (‘advanced scrool’) and red divine (‘divine scrools’). The more difficult the level of the maze, the greater the chance of more powerful scrolls. The Guardian of the Labyrinth, i.e. the minotaur, has the ability to curse (‘hex’) and after it expires, he becomes hypervulnerable to attacks, which is why he is easy to defeat. Heroes equipped with lifesteal set will come to our aid. Importantly, the first series of scrolls of championships for our farmer, i.e. the hero used to train other champions, should be bought for 800 diamonds. Thanks to this, he will be able to fight the minotaur on his own in the company of heroes whose mastery we will develop.

Ice Golem Peak
The Ice Golem is the guardian of the artifacts that will help us develop the champions used in the faction crypts. In addition to the five basic artifacts that can be obtained in the campaign, the ice golem can give us five unique ones available only in this instance.
To defeat the golem, you need to neutralize its guards, who block healing and weaken our champions. Heroes such as the unprecedented Armiger and Conquerer will come to our aid. They have the ability to block revive, thanks to which the ice golem will not revive its henchmen. Once we manage to neutralize them, defeating the golem is a piece of cake.
Spider Nest
In the spider’s den, we can get accessories such as rings, necklaces and banners that complement the heroes’ equipment. The spider itself requires a specific approach and aoe (‘area of effect’) attacks. The higher the level, the more difficult it is to control spiders and require more area of effect attacks. To begin with, each of our starters will cope with the first levels of the spider. Later we will need champions with aoe attacks on A1 abilities, performed every round and on counter. We will be helped by the void hero from the Ogryn faction, Belower, and the void hero from the Demonspawn, Fellhound, who are also great farmers. In Late game it requires time controlles to disallow spider mother to take her turn.

However, the best way to kill the spider is to set all of its minions on fire. ‘hp burn’ causes that when a burning enemy starts a turn, everyone in his party takes damage, including the large spider in this case. Unfortunately, in the early stages of the game, it’s hard to get a hero who can use this skill on everyone. Indirectly, such a champion can be Dhrextar, which can be bought from the bazaar.
Dragon’s Cavern
The dragon is the place where you can get a toxic set that you can equip your champions with to fight the clan boss. In addition, it is a place where we can get speed and life drain equipment. Someone like Spirithost will be useful to fight the dragon, because the dragon uses quite a lot of debuffs. On higher difficulty levels, you will also need masteries such as ‘warmaster’, thanks to which we have a 60% chance of dealing 4% damage equal to the enemy’s health points, and any other effects affecting the % of the enemy’s health points, i.e. poison, bombs or burning health. Heroes whose attacks and damage depend on the opponent’s HP will also be perfect, i.e. Steelbowyer, Armiger, Coldheart or the epic Royal Guard.
Fire Knight Castle
The Fire Knight is a tough opponent. Not only does it heal, it has a shield that we have to hit with a certain number of attacks so that we can damage the fiery knight, which is soft inside. To eliminate him, we can use Rocktooth or any other hero that has the ability to block the knight’s healing ability. Problems start at higher levels, where we need to make sure the shield is removed quickly, because while it is up, the knight is not affected by debuffs. And the knight must first be slowed down, secondly, block his healing ability, and thirdly, reduce his turn meter. Armiger has the A1 skill, so it’s a good idea to arm him at the beginning. Triple and quadruple attacks are required to remove the shield. The reward is decent equipment. Noteworthy are: the ‘savage’ equipment that bypasses 30% of the opponent’s defense and ‘regeneration’, which allows you to restore 10% of your health points each turn.
That’s it for now. Of course there are a lot of details about the way to dungeons, this is one of the possible paths and probably the easiest to get off to a good start. If I helped, support me by subscribing to my YT channel
